Eric J. Mausner is an associate at Rossman, Baumberger, Reboso & Spier, P.A.  Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Eric served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he investigated and prosecuted hundreds of violent crimes including narcotics trafficking, armed robbery and burglary, aggravated battery and assault, sexual battery, and DUI. Eric served as both first and second chair prosecutor from jury selection through verdict in numerous jury trials gaining extensive litigation and courtroom experience. Before and during law school, Eric worked at both the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the King’s County District Attorney’s Office assisting New York City prosecutors in all stages of criminal litigation. While in law school Eric interned for Judge Judy Harris Kluger, Chief of Policy and Planning for New York State Courts. While living in Washington D.C. Eric worked for a congressional relations firm and a campaign finance & technology firm. Eric also interned on Capitol Hill in the offices of two different members of the U.S. Congress.

Having served the community extensively for nearly a decade, Eric knows firsthand the importance of fighting for victims and is proud to be part of the RBRS Law team representing people who have been seriously injured by the negligent actions of others.  Eric works in the firm’s railroad division representing injured railroad workers and navigating the complex laws and regulations related to the railway industry.

A native of New Jersey and a third generation lawyer, Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in classical humanities from The George Washington University, and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School.

Eric lives in Miami, Florida and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
